Braised Hairy Melon with Dried Mushrooms and Dried Scallops
I’m not sure if these were fuzzy melons (jit gwa – 节瓜) or hairy melons (mao gwa – 毛瓜), but it was still very good 🙂 Are they the same? Thank you Eddy for the recipe! Now that I’ve given it a test run, it looks like it could be one of those dishes you have at Chinese New Years!
*Update: Checked my receipt and these were 毛瓜. Yes!
